Do I need Docker?+
For the supported customer install, yes: Docker Desktop with WSL2 on Windows x64 or Docker Engine with Compose v2 on Linux x86-64.
Where is my data stored?+
In a local SQLite database in persistent Docker storage. Keep an independent backup destination as well.
Can I add multiple users?+
Free supports one enabled user; Workshop supports up to five, with three distinct roles.
Does Parts Inventory work offline?+
Local inventory workflows remain local. A valid Workshop licence file allows up to 14 days offline; live camera scanning requires an appropriate secure browser context.
What happens when Workshop expires?+
At 50 active parts or fewer, the install falls back to Free. Above that, data is preserved in protected read-only mode with search, export and backup available.
How do I back up?+
Use the supplied backup tool or in-app settings. Keep a copy on another device or service and test restore.
Can I run multiple servers?+
No. One writable application instance per SQLite database is supported.
